Mushroom ID Help please, Lakewood WA
    #22296221 - 09/26/15 10:06 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Hey everybody,

I went mushroom hunting today and I found this bunch of mushrooms that look kind of like Cyanescens.  I'm hoping someone around here could help me identify them.  I can't really provoke much of a bruise on any of them, and I know that's a bad sign. (I'm fairly new to this.)

Here is the description of the above image, as copied from the new post guide.

    * Habitat: Lots of trees.  Unknown wood types.  Varying colors of woodchips, like the ones in the pictures below.
    * Location: Olympia
    * Gills: Kind of off white.  See pictures.
    * Stem: I wish I could say that it was a purely white stem, but they're like 90% white, 10% brown (so tan.)
    * Can't really provoke a bruise.

I'm working on doing a spore print now.  I neglected to get a photo of them in their native habitat, but I did take some photos of some other young mushrooms which were growing nearby.  (I thought I might come back to those in a few days.  If anybody has any input on what those ones might be as well, I'd love to hear some thoughts.  Also, if they are psilocybes, how long should I wait before picking them, judging by my photos?)

Thanks in advance.  I'll post the spore print when I can.
