The gfi was built into the house in the garage. Stupid too because they put gfi outlets on each socket, whic. Are all on the same circuit that's also ran off a gfi breaker.... Super redundant as you only need one gfi per circuit.
The misters I just roughed in. I zip tied them to the log hannging rails. I plan to have each mister pointing down between each log. Any large droplets will fall to the floor and evaporate there. I saw orbit also makes flexible extension nozzles, I may get these to help aiming them.

They do make a lot of water. I may need to buy another mister that does increments down to one min. I found a Toro one that looks like it fits the bill.

So after adjusting the misters, pointing them horizontal instead of down at the floor. That seems to make the wet spots on the floor get much larger and less centralized in puddles. I ran it for 3 min and the whole floor was evenly damp, and i figure with 18 logs and the poly walls that will grab some droplets too. I also did the test with a 200 CFM inline blower circulating air in the room to help move the mist. Do you guys think it would be cool to keep the fan blowing in there 24/7 to help circulate air? I would have it at ceiling level near the front door blowing air across the ceiling.

I think the fan running always is a great idea, so long as it doesn't dry the tops of your logs

If you could place the fan low instead, to blow across the floor, it would help evaporating some of the water/moisture on the floor, but that might not be practically suitable? Also it would be less likely to dry out the tops of the logs as azur is saying.

While that is true, the nasties live near the floor...

The fan is also not wet rated so I'd feel much better if it was up and above the misters.

I hooked my mist-er up to a solonoid valve and used the humidity sensor off ebay to control it. I'd say it doesn't use less water (vs a 2min every 2hr, rainbird irrigation controller) but it helps keep the humidity more consistent. From what I've read you need to get up to hi-psi systems for the water to atomize if you can't/don't want pooling.

So with the poly up i noticed the misters pointing at the walls just collected droplets and ran down to the floor. So now i have all the misters pointing inwards and the end misters are pointing inwards and more towards the center. I think to control humidity I will have my swamp cooler pump on a digital controller, maybe not to start but eventually.

It is important to get the psi up, depending on the style of nozzle it probably in the 30-50 psi range before the mist gets fine.

Yea im using tap pressure so its around 60-80 psi, makes a nice fine mist.
I got the filter housing up, probably put the door frame back up as well tonight and get the door made up and mounted tomorrow then start on the ducting. Below the filter you can see the old sign i plan to make my ducting box out of. I'll make a box on the inside that feeds my 6" fan then into a swamp cooler pail with 6" flex duct. The wooden filter frame still needs an additional piece to support the fan.

another reason to not marry. Ha ha. Congrats dude. You'll love it. I have 2 that I've had for several years. In fact, when i built my big pc, i made it the same diameter as the 941 and use one of the lids for it.

Thanks man. Yea i saw that monster. I do have a spool of SS welding wire but nowhere to get the tube made on the cheap. I think the 941 will fill my requirements.
porgress made today

I had to place the swamp cooler in the green tote to catch all the dribbles that get blown out the outlets. If i put a bunch of up elbows that would catch the dribbles but i think ill leave it be. Ill end up feeding the water supply to the tote from my ultrasonic pail on my martha. I realized today swamp cooler float valves are hard to come by in october. All the lowes and home depots changed to winter and got rid of all there summer stock. I ended up getting a 300 gph fountain pump for $30 to mist the inside of the swamp cooler and soak the matting via a garden sprinkler head. Ill move my purge pump from my marthas swamp cooler for now to keep mineral buildup down. 30 min on for one hour every day empties out the contents of the swamp cooler keeping it fresh.
I was going to make a metal ducting box and went the easy route with wood. I think ill just wrap the remaining duct opening in poly and leave a skirt to protect the fan from direct water contact. This system cranks out tons of cool humid air, the oysters should love it. Ill be making 2 poly logs tomorrow of pinks then blues to follow shortly after. I think ill be doing sets of 4 logs weighing about 30-40 lbs using 3-4 qts spawn each.

Pinks is all I had in good cultures so I'm milking out my remaining jars and running the space heater on cooler nights. Now that I have good blue cultures ill swap to them in a week and stop running the heater.
