Found these chantrelle picking today growing around some old stumps, some nice bluing on them.

Chantrelles?
They kind of look like old gyms, any other info? looks like orange rusty spores, were they growing off wood, exposed or burried? Put them in the fridge over night to bring out the bruising.

old gyms do have a tendonsy to turn blackish dark brown with age, and bruising

They were growing off stumps and old fallen trees....no real need to put them in the fridge the bluing is pretty easy to see....I have never seen them before myself but spotted the bluin while I was walking by. Prints are printing right now

and the stipe is built like a tree trunk, no bulges at the base. and many corts are naturally blue. i got more.

they may be gyms but i'd be really wary on these. they don't scream gym to me. print will be redder/orange/brown than gyms too. and the cap looks like it has fibers running from the center to the edge of the gills, another cort trait.

it's all right i don't plan on eating them i just seen the scaly caps/growing off wood/woodchips/stumps/bruising blue and though gyms right away, neat mushroom either way i did see some really nice oysters today as well!(and hauled 40 lbs of chants) maynard gave a good suggest in an active inocybe

I'm fairly confident that theses are Inocybe calamistrata, or another Inocybe at least. I don't they that they bruise blue but just are blue, they never seem to get any bluer as they oxidize or decay when I have found them before.
