trippy fantasy movies question

What are some movies similar to "Legend"; you know the type with the monsters and trolls and elves and dark overlord, real tripped-out geeky shit. My freind swears they made a bunch of these movies in the eighties for the d&d and drug crowd but i have yet to find specific ones. it can even be space related; just based on crazy creatures and an altered environment is what im looking for. Ive tried watching the scifi channel waiting for them to come on, but that low-budget whore of a channel has 2x the commercials of your average network. Anyone else enjoy these movies and/or know some i should look for? I am dying to trip to one of these films.

There were a handful which were very similar to Legend in look and fee (with my ratings for how good I think they'd be for drugs)l:
-Labyrinth (starring David Bowie and a very young Jennifer Connelly!)*****
-The Princess Bride ***
-Dragonslayer*
-Willow (don't remember)
-Dark Crystal****
-The Neverending Story****
-Fire and Ice**

I could go on, but I was trying to stick to mid-80's fantasy with weird animals/monsters type stuff :smile:

alice in wonder land(real ppl version and disney) both fuking awsome
a waking life really makes ya think, trippy visuals
dark crystal is really fukt up
my next one will be charlie and the chocolate factory
i also wanna check out some doctor sues movies
