Hi people! Cheers from Argentina! This is my first post, after reading a LOT. I wanted to start with PF Tek and a Shotgun terrarium but day after day browsing the forum i started to change my mind. I´ll go directly to Monotub and bulk. I still have to colonize my quart Jars with Wheat grain (very common in argentina, Rye i cant find) but i still waiting the arrival of my prints ordered to Free Spore España. In the meanwhile im preparing all the stuff, so i wanted to buy a tote for a SAB and because i dont want to go 2 times to the store i will buy the tote for the Monotub too. The first one is already chosen but i need advice on which chose for the monotub.
I can buy the following totes for the porpose:
Measures are in Inches LxWxH (I transformed them because here we use centimeters and litres)
Tote Model 9234 36 Quart 18,3 x 13,4 x 10,8

Tote Model 9242 44 Quart 14,5 x 20,5 x 12,2

Tote Model 9416 38 Quart 19,3 x 13 x 13,2

Tote Model 9417 50 Quart 25,2 x 17,7 x 9,8

Tote Model "Cheap" ----> This one is very cheap compared to similar model from other brand 69 Quart 23,6 x 15,7 x 12,6

Tote Model 9418 72 Quart 25,2 x 17,7 x 13

Tote Model 9419---> This one is a bit expensive 84 Quart 25,2 x 17,7 x 16,2

Which ones can be used for Monotub?? Is preferible 1 bigger or 2 smaller? I listen to you wise cultivators!

Definitely get that "cheap" one. Any of them will work, size isn't too much an issue. Most of my tubs are 66 qt.

Any of them it'll be fine lol. Really no such thing as a chamber that's too short.

+1, they will just bend over. I had the lids popped off containers by the force of growing shrooms.

If you want, you can make a mini mono out of a tub that size. Too many holes in a smaller size tub like that will lead to excessive FAE, which is a bad thing, and will slow down pin formation as well as dry out your sub surface. You have to find that happy medium.

That mini mono´s are half size than mine, but its another idea. I think i will make the typical 6 holes (two bottom long sides, 1 upper short sides) but smaller (if FAE turns limited, i enlarge the holes or loose polyfill). Anyways the principle is the same i think!
Thanks
