Okay so i have two plates one AA+ and one PE and i made them about 3 months ago and stored them in the refrigerator till today. Made some more plates today and should i start over from spore or transfer from what ive grown already. No visable signs of contam on the plates . The growth on the plates wasnt uniform though since there was some water in the plates and the spores got washed around but the plates are all white.

Uh, absolutely make transfers from the stored plates. Why wouldn't you?

Plates can keep in the fridge for a while. Just use a different agar formula for the transfers. Put that myc to work!

I was asking due to the possibility of contamination

You would be able to see any contamination just like a fresh plate.

3 months? I would take a transfer just to be on the safe side. I know some folks (myself included) who have had some problems using cultures direct out of cold storage
I'm pretty cautious though. Like after I pull from a slant I usually take one more transfer to be on the safer side
But definitely no reason to start over from spore, even if you see some bacteria or something you can transfer away from it
