Another really, REALLY weird ass flick is Only God Forgives. Starring Ryan Gosling. Definitely one of the weirder ones I've ever seen.
I saw it on mushrooms too so that only multiplied the weirdness.

Can't forget about Enter the Void. Maybe the weirdest movie I've ever seen. Especially with all that sister/mother incest vibe shit that was going on.
I probably the spent the duration of the film looking like Wahlberg does here

I always thought that a prank with a lot of potential would be for a dude to take a straight edge, wholesome, non-drug using girl on a first date, and have her watch Enter the Void.
And film her reaction.

A director's function is to entertain his audience just like its a bus drivers function to take the passengers, not where he likes to go but where they need to be. With Von Trier the audience serves the director.

That doesn't make any sense. Art is just a means by which to communicate ideas.

I'm in the sciences, but I respect art and don't act like artists are service providers.

art is aggregation of ideas, art is about making connections where there might not being any, art is about settling scores.

My post history is an aggregation of ideas. Making connections where none exist is called psychosis. In re settling scores that does not necessarliy involve what the snoots call art.
