I dont think mycelium gets too thick on coir, iv always been able to see the coir pretty easy through the myc.

Right, I was guessing that that might be the case. Wet coir is dark as hell so it can't get 100% whitened by the mycelium I guess. If you see knots and its covered over all I guess it should be done.
