Young Mushrooms???

Does the amount of psychoactive chemical in a shroom vary due to a mushroom's age when harvested? i.e. mushrooms harvested way too early (immature) or way too late (full grown). Is it better to eat mature or baby shrooms? Theoretically, wouldn't letting your mushrooms reach full bloom before harvesting versus harvesting an immature crop mean the difference of literally life and death per yield?
Bigger shrooms = more psilocybin and psilocin per gram? Baby shrooms = possibly higher concentrations per gram?

They have brought us to this point, and as we make our Relationship to them concious, we may be able to take control of our future evolutionary path..." Didn't think this was a hard question. I couldn't find any previous threads regarding whether to let your shrooms bulk up before harvesting. seems like it'd be obvious enough though?
