Are there any Turkey Tail look-alikes?

And if so, are they harmful at all?
Here are some pics of what I found/ have dried:

I got what seemed to be a positive ID on these a few months ago. Just wondering as I'm thinking of making a mix of them and green tea.
Also, while I'm posting, found these:

Initially, I thought they were reishi, but RR said they were probably another species--I forget the name just now. Just wondering if they were good for any medicinal benefits for teas, as I have a buttload of them.
Thanks for any help.

Pretty sure they are turkey tails, and that there aren't any poisonous mushrooms of that type[endospores I think] ( don't quote me...) Sure, some of them taste bad I bet though.
BTW, the last pic looks like Possible Reishi to me
ps- I'm also pretty sure RogerRabbit said almost all endospores have some sort of medical value... I'll PM him a link of this thread maybe he'll give us the short version rundown

Endospores?? I think you must mean Polypores, and no, not all are medicinal.
Yes, there are look-a-likes, for instance, Stereum ostrea is casually referred to as the "False Turkey-tail". Lenzites betulina is also similar, along with Daedaleopsis confragosa, and Daedalea quercina, but each of those three have maze like tubes, or gills, rather than pores.
All 4 of those are listed as inedible, and there are certainly other look-a-likes in those respective generas.
Oh, and the second set of photos is certainly in the Ganoderma genus, all of which are said to be medicinal.

To me the top pic looks almost definitley like turkey tail but I am not so sure about the 2nd and 3rd pics. They could be though.

These "Turkey Tails" are like fans, almost--very thin, growing on hardwood. I saw no tubes or gills--though it would be interesting to see some pics of the species you're talking about.

Contrary to site-wide belief, we actually do have an interest in mycology and a very, very few redeeming qualities.

Besides, even if you KNOW they arent deadly, and dont know the medicinal use if any, WHY would you wanna eat/drink that? I found a shitload of Turkey Tails last weekend, but when I went to get my film prints, the lady said they were blank! WTF?

The second picture still looks like Fomitopsis pinicola to me. http://www.rogersmushrooms.com/gallery/DisplayBlock~bid~5930~gid~.asp It's a medicinal mushroom, as well as the most common polypore in the world. RR

I have a ton of dried reishi, I just cant really figure out an enjoyable way to dose it. Its extremely juicy when its fresh and when dry it gets really dry and smells really mushroomy

Chop it up into pea sized pieces (secateurs/garden shears work well) then dry for 10/20 mins on the lowest oven setting until dry. The taste of a high dosage tea (15 grams) is easily disguised by adding tea or coffee.

Yeah, the Red-banded polypore is another likely candidate, though those in the photos above are a bit young, so you cannot see any blue that is often surrounded by the red/orange band on the top of the mushroom.

Are these turkey tail mushrooms? [Re: GnuBobo]

Who can help me identify these bracket fungi I collected ?
They were growing out of what was probably a Shea oak log
I'm almost certain they are turkey tails ( I did the true turkey tail test from mushroom expert.com) but they could be a look a like (Coriolus hirsuta?) as the underside is tan coloured and not white...?
The pores are also quite toothy on underside (but this could just be the size)
Pics look different because of flash
