It will keep the craving alive.
Kratom IS an opioid. If you take kratom you are feeding your addiction.
No alternative drugs

I feel stupid because i have always argued with people that you can take opiates and not become addicted as long as you space out your doses. Looks like i was wrong. Id compare the feeling im getting to needing a smoke...
It was like a switch clicked or something. Ive been craving some pretty much 24/7 all week. No withdrawal symptoms though, lucky me. I can imagine how bad this would be if i had these cravings AND w/d symptoms. I feel sorry for opiate addicts now.
I did break an addiction to amphetamines pretty much by using ephedrine daily. I still had severe cravings and all kinds of other withdrawal symptoms but i didnt feel like i was lacking energy or missing pleasure as some people describe.
Thats why i was thinking of using kratom.

Get Kratom and accept that that's all you can use until you've waited an ample amount of time. Or pour your time into a new hobby. That always helps me, keep busy!

I recommend kratom. That being said, you can become dependent on kratom. The withdrawal is not bad at all but it is there. I never had a problem with opiates but have with other drugs. When I'm sober, even after months or years of not taking any drugs I still have some void I need to fill by taking drugs. Kratom fills that void. It reduces the desire to take other drugs 95% by taking kratom I am able to stay away from alcohol and other drugs.
Of course staying off all drugs would be ideal, kratom is better than pretty much every other drug as far as your health and negative impacts on your life.. If you don't want to fall into the habit of dosing daily you could order a small amount and only take it as a last resort when you get bad cravings.

If you did it before you can do it again.
I found that environmental triggers are a big cause of relapse. Some people even leave the boards when they start getting the itch to use again. It's hard to quit when you're already fiending and someone posts a bundle of H or a bottle of pills or poppy pods.
Best of luck bloodwhip.

Or just think what you would do to your family especially your mother who conceived you if she found out you died and wasted your life on such a fucking terrible drug. Do it more now because you have been clean for a little while and whos to say the next time you use, that batch is stronger then your used to and your normal dose is actually way to much and you end up OD'ing. Luckily for me I OD'ed in public so the paramedics arrived very shortly after I OD'ed.
Just my two cents, I've lost over a dozen friends out of my graduating year already to OD's in the past 3 years. I hate seeing people use H. And for the love of your sobriety from opiates, don't be a douche and go get a sub/methadone crutch thinking its actually going to help. Find the strength in yourself to actually stop. Self-control dude. Lock yourself in your house after your job, deal with the terrible withdrawal feelings, it doesn't last forever and I can personally guarantee that life after heroin is quite a miraculous feeling. Especially knowing you had the self-control and strength to actually quit. I still pat my self on the back every now and again.
Just over 3 years clean from all opiates.
You can do it man, I got faith in you. Just make sure you have faith in yourself.
I'm so terribly sorry. :[

Thanks guys
Ive decide im definitely going to order some kratom instead of pods. Its going to suck to not be able to get high for 15 hours off pods anymore, but is for the best.

Kratom is to opiates as coffee is to meth. It won't give you the same kind of satisfaction, but it is satisfying in a pleasantly mild way. It does wonders to get rid of cravings. And is a good thing to have on hand for those times of extreme boredom when the temptations are strong.
Your addiction sounds mild. I would just advise some cannabis and meditation.

Pod tea is hard to describe due to varying alkaloid content. I'd say the energy of oxycodone, warm comforting feeling akin to a heavy quilt in front of a fire on Christmas, does not wear off nearly as fast and you can make it almost 2 days without feeling sick. I've even brewed up stems and crowns and gotten high. Most of these stems had latex on them. I remember my insurance goofing up once and I didn't have pain meds for a week but chewing very resinated stems kept me going fine. The withdrawals are what I imagine methadone or subs to be like. Horrible, horrible, horrible. A month of slow time, insomnia, restless legs, jaw clenching, nausea, etc even with the best of the best kratom. It took me almost 6 months to feel right after 6 months of use.

It's pretty hard to forget how good opiates feel. The only thing that really works is straight stopping. You can switch to kratom but I feel like 1 month of use isn't shit. You should just stop all together. That feeling of needing to catch a buzz is distinctly opiate like because I experienced that shit. I'd go to stupid lengths like drinking robotussin or even worse alcohol.

Pods work amazing. Very, very amazing. You have to be careful with it though because its never the same strength and you can overdose easily.
Seed Tea also works well, but personally (not doseage advice). i take like 2 1/2 pounds to get a good high, and have to take a bunch of tagamet, tums, some grapefruit juice, and wash with some lemon juice to feel anything. Not really worth it.

It's one of the hardest things to do, but if you stop now its so much easier than when you need it and you have to go through the dope sickness. I have been clean from H for about 3years, but I'm still in methadone maintenance, before my recent experiences I never thought I could go without my daily dose, but I'm in the process of detoxing and never been more excited to get out of there. I just started reading about kratom, it could help, but stick it out.

I hate to tell you this, but you need to stop using opiates before you start withdrawing. I've had three of my close friends die from opiate addiction, and a brother that ended up in the hospital. If you continue to use them, you will become addicted, and your life will revolve around their use. I am serious. It sucks, but you need to do anything you possibly can to stop using them, because it is only going to get more difficult. I've seen firsthand how it destroys people's lives. You seem like a good person, and I don't want to see it happen to you. Dope sickness is no joke. man. The longer you go without using opiates the more the cravings will subside.

It doesnt help that I decided to stop smoking weed again. I want a buzz, specifically from poppy pod tea. What do i do?
This is funny bc I rememeber you making a bunch of posts about how easy it was to use opiates in moderation

Yep.
But to be fair, i used them once a month for three years and never had a single craving. The cravings im having now are trivial, and as long as i dont give in (i wont) im good. (I hope)

Regardless, I understand what you're going through. I'm the same way with benzos. I don't really binge but I've been taking 2-3 mg of etizolam for two months and counting. I'm trying to get it under control before it starts to snowball downhill

Stop craving opiates I've been mostly clean for over 2 years now. Maybe using once every couple months but never pay for it and never get a contact.
Your funny it never stops. I think about it every day.
