I hate it when I return, and love it by the time that I leave, just so long as I managed to surrender to it all.
I think the problem is that we are witnessing something so far beyond the normal everyday experience and it is being presented as, and feels like a genuine reality. At the time you are actually down there surrounded by these entities. For this reason it feels violating! As if you really are being interfered and toyed with by a bunch of strange and malevolent creatures.
I've seen everything from demons to mechanical aliens down there (and much more that I do not have the metaphors for) but not presented as stereotypes that I know my mind is simply recreating but in a way I find it almost impossible to believe that my own mind could ever have even imagined!
For me tryptamines are much more creepy comparatively than the likes of LSD, though I think LSD is much more dangerous psychologically and it goes without saying that LSD too can fucking terrorize the living shit from a man. Its not without the ability to manifest creatures and inspire fear, but its never taken me to hyperspace and seems to lack the spirit molecule.
The creepiness is indeed one aspect of the tryptamine experience that I always need to surrender to but something I find very difficult to accept during the come up stage.
Yes tryptamines are creepy!
....the moment when u think ....."my god...I imagined the unimaginable"!........like...I have no reference point for said hallucinations. ........where did it manifest from?
..... this experience in particular is one of the things that really makes me believe it's much more than a simple hallucination. Like having a trip about a smartphone in the 1700's....the unimaginable imagined.....
Exactly! No reference points whatsoever. The things you witness are actually jaw droppingly impossible like quantum physics for the mind!
How could I possibly have imagined that? If I could get close to understanding or glimpsing it again I would have no need to ever go back to that creepy old place!
Still its possible that DMT is the mind operating on 100 percent or something.
