Found them like they had been kicked over so diddnt see where the roots were, ill take your advice on the be 100% sure and study it some more, what some fungi can do...

Amanita muscaria is more of an inebriant than psychoactive like psilocybin containing mushroom, if you choose to use it them some preparation may be needed to break down some of the bad chemicals. I've never eaten them but some people on this site really enjoy them.
