Miniature mushrooms?

So lately I've been getting g extremely small mushrooms. Usually only 1 to 2 grams wet. However I'm getting tons of them. Can anyone think as to why this is? Also is there a fix for it? Thanks.

You may get smaller shrooms but you'll get more, the larger the less you get, ithats the only way I can see around does suck getting a bunch of small shrooms but I don't think you do much about it unless you clone a big shroom and use agar

In my limited experience, I haven't been able to distinguish why one cake has grown few big mushrooms and another lots of little ones- with all other conditions being equal. Maybe that's part of the multi-spore luck of the draw?
I've had the most intense trips from the smallest mushrooms and they're cute!

Thanks for the sweet miniature mushroom Tek bro...

expectations are the leading cause of disappointment. it is usually best to avoid them.
anyhoo i think it is partly genetics and luck of the draw with multispore inoculation, partly a matter of having x amount of mass to divide over whatever number of pins show up.
but also maybe the organism has a mechanism where it will make extra large mushrooms if it experiences a disappointing pinset in an attempt to maximise it's reproduction capabilities with the few fruits it has.
just a thought...

Sorry brotato. When it comes to mushroom terms I'm stupid. I know how to grow them, don't know the terms. Trying to learn but it takes me time.

I've been under the impression that sunlight is bad. I'll give it a shot though, at small amounts of course. I define try should increase FAE though.

You selected the post icon that says so that's probably why he thought that. That does beg the question why you chose that one out of all the others.

Tbh i get around 2 hours of direct sunlight a day with more fae than what most teks call for. 8 hole monotubs with fairly big top holes. Sunlight gives me nice caps.

I think sunlight is fantastic tbh. I don't see why people think it's bad.

You're clearly mistaken, the sunlight has destroyed those caps completely.

I have them in a room facing to the west, and as the sun sets, they're in a spot that will get hit with direct sunlight through the window. And up here its sunny like 99% of the time . Between 3-8 pm it will hit all the tubs for a good couple hours.
