Korn's album Issues was such a good album...
    #22276816 - 09/22/15 10:48 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Remember when I first got this shit back in the day, still jam Korn occasionally, Ill always love them. Their earlier albums were so good (Issues, Follow the leader, Life is Peachy)

I didn't like anything after Follow the Leader

The self-titled album was always the best imo

Follow the Leader was good when I was in elementary school. I realized how much they suck by the time I hit puberty.

It definately fell off after Life is Peachy, even Life is Peachy had a few "meh" moments. Everything there and prior is lovely.

Not to derail the thread but anybody remember Coal Chamber (or any Devildriver fans)?

Chamber music was a decent album.

DevilDriver just all around destroys though.

I only mention it because I think Coal Chamber was one of the first bands published on Korn's record label... or something iirc

One day I was listening to Devildriver and the thought dawned on me how much it sounded like Coal Chamber... Then it all made sense. Kinda like the time I found out Phil Collins used to be in Genesis

Korn now makes records featuring skrillex.  It's like they never want to appeal to anyone older than 15.

Crazy how they went from such a dark, twisted alternative metal band that had songs about some real serious, dark personal shit to just another '10s pop rock band. They literally sound like Coldplay now

They're about to go on tour performing their debut in its entirety, I don't really care cause I don't even really like their old stuff but I know of some old fans of theirs who are gonna lose their shit at that show.

Green Jellÿ (pronounced "green jello") is an American comedy rock band formed in 1981. Originally named Green Jellö, the band changed its name due to legal pressure from the owners of the Jell-O trademark, Kraft Foods, who claimed that it was an infringement of their trademark. Despite the spelling difference, the new name and the old are pronounced identically.

I could google it but won't.

Why was fieldly (?) kicked out ?

It was a different member and I guess he left, the original drummer I think was booted out or something.

They were my first Concert pairing with rob zombie.
This is one of the first songs I learned on guitar.

I agree.

One of my favorite albums.

Great composition and overall feel.

I count it among  Incubus' "morning view" and DSOTM by pinkfloyd and mgmt-oracle spectacular as a perfect album.

my friend put me onto listening to entire albums and its a great way to experience music.

Korn is great live
