Cobwebby?!
    #22275909 - 09/22/15 07:31 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Is this cobweb mold? Three weeks in now, jars are fully cultivated for the most part but I was gonna leave it in an extra few days. Know it might be a bit hard to see but upper half of the jar has small fuzzy looking patch where as the rest you can see is strong mycelium growth. What can I do to fight this if it is cobweb? A few of my other jars also have small patches but I've seen it for a bit now and it hasn't taken over the rest of the cakes so I'm not sure if it even is.

Is it just really rhizomorphic mycelium maybe? It's hard to see. Is it an off white almost grey? It just looks kinda ropey. I think its fine cobweb would of taken over really fast. Anymore pics?

Alright then, picture this if you will:
10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" post, just outside of Area 51.
Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this.
Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping...
Holy fucking shit!

Actually, after thinking about it and noticing that it's not spreading I believe it may be rhizomorphic. Thanks for the replies.
