Is this magic?
    #22273310 - 09/22/15 10:01 AM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Number 1
Found these growing beside a half dead birch, in a field thinly populated by trees in Westphalia, Germany.
All close ups of all the following mushrooms will be found in this link.

http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/3709738824

All photos are number to the number of the Shroom.

So they are about 5cm tall, light brown on the top, the gills are dark brown.
Stems are whitish and hollow inside.
Cap is conical and spore print colour is blackish.

Number 2

These were found everywhere in the same field, in the grass or by the trees.
Mostly light brown colour on the spherical tops, gills are the colour of cream, but turn to lightish brown later.
The old speciments tend to get a sombrero shape.
Spore print colour is lightish brown, like coffee with abit of milk.
The stem is not hollow, light brown, goes to darker brown with age.
All are no higher than 7cm.

Number 3

These were found in a place like this:

Still same field, only surrounded by aspen and hazel trees.

Greyish brown colour, spherical on top when larger, conical when small. There is a distinct point in the middle of the cap and most of these look like thimbles.
Gills are white, but I cannot make out any colour to the spore print.
Stems are quite long, up to 10cm, hollow inside.

Number 4

Same field, found them by a fallen branch

Stems are light yellow, hollow, can be up to 10cm long.
Caps are spherical, colouring goes from orange in the middle to whiteish yellow to the sides.
These guys leave a lot of spores, and quite a few of them covered in them.
The spores are of thick brown colour. But the actual gills are white/grey.

Number 5
Only found a few of these, same field, in the grass, by the birch trees,

Conical shape, caps seem very thick and heavy, dark brown colour, gills are satin black and leave a faint black print. Stems is also dark brown, not hollow, up to 6cm.

Number 7

As you can see, this is a lot like Number for, however, the gills are light yellow, not white/grey, and it does not seems to give out any of them brown spores! It was not found in a colony like Number 4, but rather as a loner.

Number 8

Same field. Quite a thick stem, not hollow, white gills, don't seem to leave any print, conical cap, quite hard and moist.

That's all for now, but these fields are filled with mushies! I can even say that, any fallen leave actually is a mushroom!

Regards,
Arthur

I've left all these in separate paper bags, and the next day I've found number 3 swimming in black water. Scary
