Early Morning Chat

Good morning friends. Just getting up and about. Having some cereal and the coffee is abrewin. Teaching a class this morning at some woman's club about growing fall and winter vegetables in containers. Not exactly my speaking specialty, but it's mostly pretty basic, so I'm sure it will be good. Get pain $100 bucks for speaking for less than an hour, so not a bad deal. Otherwise it's my day off. Probably get lunch with my pops later, take a nap, and then go to Aikido class in the evening.
What's good with my shroomy comrades?

Was a few minutes away from making one of these.
That is a good gig. Hell, sounds like a great day in general.
I'm just procrastinating, gotta take an online exam in a few hours but for now I'm just eating kratom drinking coffee and about to do a little exercise. Hope everyone's good this morning

Almost any can if the container is the right size, but for this class I'm focusing on winter veggies like lettuce, asian greens, kale, and herbs like cilantro, parsley, chives, etc. A lot of people make the mistake of trying to grow larger growing veggies like tomatoes in too small of a pot and have a difficult time growing them as a result.
I'm also going to touch on dwarf citrus that can be grown in containers, as well as dwarf blueberries.

I'm watching Puffin Rock with the bambino. He refuses to nap this morning, but he's playing happily so I don't mind. He might be transitioning to one long midday nap instead of three shorter ones throughout the day. Or today could just be a special day. It's too early to tell.
That gardening class sounds fun. I wonder if I have any skills I could get paid to share with people like that. Maybe I could do a kids' cooking class or something.

Is your friend a parent, or under 5 years old? Haha. Puffin Rock is cute. It's not annoying like most of the shows targeted at the youngsters.

100$ to speak for an hour about growing, sounds cool. I need to find me some gigs like that. Last year i took some old rain barrels i was getting rid of and cut off the top and bottom. (They were 55 gallon drums) So now i have two giant containers to grow in. I put a blueberry plant in one and the other i grew som kalediscope corrot which came out awesome thanks to all the old perlite i threw in from my sgfc's. They are black to so here in the northeast it helps keep the roots warm.
Im haven my coffee/krat. Goodmorning shroomy peoples. Work is goin smooth thus far still many hours to go /:

Blueberries can grow quite well in containers. The key is well draining acidic soil. Acidity is extremely important for blueberries. A good friend of mine grows some amazing blueberries in large pots.

My day off and my morning was ruined when my fake tooth broke off my flipper. I fucking was flipping a shit and freaking out. Decided to just say fuck it and get some krazy glue, shit worked nicely back together pretty solid, feels even more solid than it was before. Fucking close call I don't have the time or money for that shit.

Back from teaching my gardening class. It was a very nice group of ladies and they seemed genuinely very pleased to have me speak for their meeting.
Gonna water my garden now, get some lunch, take a nap, and go to Aikido.
