just to be contrary, i'm going to post one of my favorite characters ever

Avon from the wire
the perfect mix of Omar and Stringer.
You're a fool, Omar was way better. He just had to leave his apartment and the gangsters would hand over their cash.

Sandra Bullock in gravity sucked. Ooooo her fucking baby. She clearly was not psychologically fit to go into space. She made that move awful.

Matthew Mcconaughey in Contact. Stupid role. Wasn't in the book. Ruined the movie.

I think just in general Gravity sucked . I've just assumed it was a gimmicky made for 3d movie. Story line overall is pretty uneventful and the scenes meant to leave you in suspense just didn't really do their job well.

Sheekle you have horrible taste. Jim Bruer is tha man. Also I had a huge crush on Penelope Cruz ever since I saw her in the two versions of Vanilla Sky.
For me it's probably Superman, any of them really. That character always seemed so lame to me. I don't see why people get all up on his dick. "I am the strongest and most boring non-human ever"

Oh wow he has to be a severe alcoholic or have down syndrome or something based on some clips
I should probably ignore you for that.
Jim Brewer's a legend, yeah his character was over the top in that movie. No more than the cheech&chong characters though.
My least favorite character is Vin Diesel, in anything.

Why Vin Diesel? I mean I have a good idea why, but if it's why I think, The Rock is far worse.

Why vin diesel? His acting is horrible and God awfully cheesy. I can't keep a straight face when watching his movies.
I don't really have a problem with the rock. He does some lame roles, but he doesn't bother me so much. He doesn't try too hard.
It's just the tough guy hard ass persona that diesel can't pull off, it's laughable. Riddick, fast&furious...

I dunno I see them as pretty much on par with each other. They both are typecasted into the same role but one does it better than the other. Maybe it's just a difference in opinion. I think The Rock tries way too hard to pull it off. I dunno what it is, but every time he's in a movie, it's like same level of ridiculousness as his wrestling career.
They're both on screen wanna be tough guys with no real distinction other than being muscle bound fucksticks. They even have kind of similar filmographies. The majority is tough guy action stuff, but The Rock has The Tooth Fairy and Vin has The Pacifier.

You're right.
I suppose it's because I've seen the rock on talk shows just being himself and he's grown on me over time.
Plus, I think one of the first movies I saw him in was The Run Down. So first impressions weren't too bad.
Also, I watched about 20 minutes of fast&furious 7 the other night with a friend...I guess that's why Diesel's so fresh in my mind.
I just can't stand his acting..maybe it's because he's not trying hard enough...

Can't believe what I'm hearing Half Baked is one of the greatest stoner comedies ever made.
Dave Chapelle, Jim Bruer, Jon Stuart, and whoever played Scarface are all legends, B.
