Hey everyone I have a single cake as a starter before I up scale and my fruits are all maturing at different times and they havent gotten bigger than my pinky finger..I'm not sure if it's just the strain (cambodian) or conditions aren't right for proper fruiting..any help is greatly appreciated

Pics would be appreciated, but if you're using a spore syringe then each mushroom is likely to have it's own phenotype (characteristics/attributes). Some are going to be larger than others, and those are the ones people generally attempt to clone; Unless they lack potency. Some of those little guys are strong.

by the time you get to fruiting you normally only have a few strains there at most op it isnt' the size of the fruits that matters it's the final weight

Thank you this is my first grow session and the cake started pretty dry. I dunked it for 24 hours before I rolled and stuck in the fc. It's been fruiting on a constant they just aren't as big as I thought but I'm not complaining by any means

Yea, all the pins matured and you harvested, there might be new pins forming already, that is the next flush

I dunk after I have harvested all the ripe fruits. Someone on here recently instructed me to only harvest the ripe shrooms, and then to leave the other buttons, whereas previously once a few ripened I picked them all and then dunked, so I have 1 cake right now that I am letting finish it's flush to see how that works. But yeah, after they have pinned you will notice which ones are fruits and which ones are aborts, once you harvest all the last mushies and then take the aborts, dunk for 24 hours and then put back in the chamber.

you don't have to, i suggest you just harvest and dunk, there are methods used like letting it semi dry up for a bit but i'd leave that for now till you get a few grows down

Mikimus, I am unsure. As cronicr said about there being some other methods, perhaps if you feel good about it you could experiment with a couple cakes. What I have been doing is putting them back in the chamber the moment I take them out of the fridge from being dunked, I waste no time :P However now that I am amassing my mushrooms, I am experimenting more and more with other cakes to see what does what now.
