Some wierd Liberty caps?

Some wierd looking Liberty caps? They got the pellicle and stem seems quite the same as rest of todays catch, just want another set of eyes on them to be sure.
Happy Lib season.
By the way, do you guys take off the caps and keep the stems if cap is rotten?
Kind regards,

If possible, could you check with a needle if there is a gelatinous string attached along the gill edges?

They all look like perfectly-normal liberty caps to me.

They might be liberty caps, but the uniform difference in cap shape makes me think it could be something else. I was thinking about the possibility of P. liniformans.

Could not find a string with a pointy knife. But it got the same gelatinous pellicle that libs got.

Probably good ol' libs then. They tend to vary in shape and size, but you never know.

Do you think they could be something very bad to eat if they are not libs? Or just another mushroom with similar properties as liberty caps?

They are psilocybe semilanceata. I've seen hundreds that looked exactly like these. I suspect it's a slightly different strain that occurs side by side with the ones that you usually see.

Yeah I have seen plenty of libs like this....but they do seem to be pretty uniform in their cap shape which is a little out of ordinary. Psilocybe Strictipes is the one that I think pretty much looks exactly like Semilanceata. Alan Rockefeller said that he doesn't even think they exist though. Either way, those are Psilocybes.
