Needing guidance for this one

So, a friend and I came across these very interesting specimens growing directly from a giant wood chip mound. We are pretty sure of the final ID as Leucoagaricus meleagris, but neither of us can find any solid info on them... the best I can find is a distribution map that shows record of them being found in PNW/BC, Europe and Australia.... no where near me in southwest Florida... Could anyone help a brotha out?? Here's some pics, in case you were wanting to see for yourself

Midnight, Mykes, any Fla peoples... have any of you run into these before??

is the spore print white? If it is bruising a strong dark red color, could it maybe be ---
Leucoagaricus americanus ??

They are said to be common EAST of the rocky mountains.

No, it bruises red immediately. And the print is brown (see 2nd pic).
OH! And KOH reaction is green on cap.
