I innoculated 6 pints with a creeper syringe, but lost 2 jars to the green (so I thought). Well, I let the jars colonize, and left the 2 contam'd jars, cuz I had no way of disposing them at the time. When I checked my jars a week later, not only were the 4 jars 100%, but som were the contam'd 2. I am positive that it is Cube mycellium, and not the green, since the mycellium is very rhizomorphic, and not fluffy as I'm used to seeing when I get contams. Is it possible that the mycellium overpowered the contams that were there? Should I try to fruit them separately from the others?
Yes you could try fruit those cakes separately. If anything healthy grows you should break the cakes after the harvest to check for contams on the inside. Toss any cake showing any evidence of contamination.
