Southeast Asia San Pedro Identification
    #22268233 - 09/21/15 07:03 AM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Hi, could somebody tell me which of these cacti are of the trichocereus family(or if they even are)? The lady at the cacti shop said they could "be eaten" but she spoke very little english, as these are from southeast asia

Thanks!

They look like Stetsonia, and or Myrtillocactus to me.. . that's my guess. they don't have the right color, nor arrangement of spines to appear to be Trichos, IMO.

I'd say Stenocereus griseus for the first two pics and Myrtillocactus geometrizans for the rest.
