I don't have any real talent for it, I'm a novice, literally started less than 2-3 days ago, but I enjoy it. It's a nice way to express different components of myself. What do you guys think?
This is the 2nd painting I ever created. I thought it looked very rudimentary, kind of like something a 5th grader would draw

This is the first painting where I truly expressed something that was deep inside of me, and not just drawing something to be pleasing to the eye

This one is technically not a painting, it's a colored pencil drawing. And I have to warn you, it is very graphic and gory and rapey. But this is the first one I spent hours and hours slaving over, the rest I spent maybe 20-30 minutes max on each of them.

I mean it definitely shows that the second two have alot more substance to them. The last one is downright disturbing and I am a fan of gore so that is saying something.
Definitely keep it up. #2 is near professional quality IMO in terms of composition so if that's what you're doing right off the bat you absolutely have talent there if I were to offer feedback I would say study anatomy and maybe take a figure drawing class, as you seem to have a knack for that sort of thing

Thanks for the reviews, guys! Think I should try to sell any of these on Etsy or somewhere else? My friend is saying I should try Deviant Art or Hentai Foundry to sell the erotic gore, apparently there's tons of anime and hentai fans and there's a huge market for this sort of thing.
Say I am selling one of these… an original artwork (NOT a copy) on a 9x12 canvas or thick quality paper… and I spend 1 hour on a painting. How much should I charge for one of these?
As opposed to a painting that I spend 6+ hours on… how much should I charge for that?
And like I said, I'm no artist, literally just started days ago, so I'm not expecting much. So I figure maybe $30 for the 1-hour ones, and $60 for the 6-hour ones is a pretty fair deal, especially since I have no name.

Yeah I mean I would just go by what you value your time and how many hours you put in on it, but I'm not sure what the market is for that stuff. I've never sold anything myself, and honestly I don't know any artists that really sell paintings. Most artists I know do like t-shirts and design stuff like that for money, because getting someone to buy paintings these days is pretty hard. If you learned computer graphics that pencil drawing could probably be turned into a badass t-shirt. (they all could really)
If you want to get into making money I would say landscapes and stuff is better, because to get shown in a gallery you've got to either suck up to art snobs or get really lucky. I've seen some people that seem to do pretty well doing cityscapes and selling them on the street. That modern impressionist type style you've got could even work for that. You've gotta think, 'what would a chumpy tourist like to hang in their living room?'
That's kinda why I gave up on being an artist (a working one at least). Only a lucky few get to do what they love for pay, and you've really gotta sell yourself more than the work. To me perverting something that comes from me like that is just not what I want. If I'm gonna sell out, I'll just work a job I figger.

Honesetly, I've seen some SHITTY artwork being sold on Etsy for over $500-$1,000. Check out Etsy's current collection: https://www.etsy.com/c/art-and-collectibles/painting
I'm sure some of these artists have names for themselves, and some of these are very talented, but Christ some of these are really just average, especially when factoring price in the equation.
I do tend to draw anime quite well though, kind of similar to the last gore drawing… and my friend was saying that Deviant Art or Hentai Foundry would be the locations to sell artwork like this… apparently there's a huge market of people who will request a specific hentai drawing from you, and they will pay you anywhere between $50-$300 for the drawing. Well, that is what I would charge anyway depending on how elaborate the drawing is, and how many hours I spent on it.

Well it's like they always say on Pawn Stars: just because that is someone's asking price it doesn't mean anyone's buying it.
Commissions online seem to be a pretty big avenue too these days, but those are pretty niche scenes and you've got to pay your dues to get established. Just start putting your work up and see what people think. You are already better than most of the stuff I have seen on DA, but I think people pay for commissions because they admire the artist as much as appreciate the work.
The lines on the woman's body with the ropes are really solid, I can't even critique that. If you put in the time to tighten up the composition I think it would easily be salesworthy, as the subject matter is unique and going to appeal to some of those niche crowds online.
The musculature and shading on the guys is good, you clearly have a good understanding of that, but there's some quirky things about it that I think could really be improved if you did some life-studies. Even with anime that stuff is more important than alot of people think getting into it. Considering you already have in interest in the human body I think you will pick it up quicker than most. In my opinion even if you are drawing from imagination, having that fundamental understanding of anatomy is what sets apart the good and the great with figure drawing.
One thing you could do is just get a textbook or webpage with muscle/skeletal diagrams and just try to copy as many as you can. Learn different poses and the tiny little subtleties of the body that determine posture and form. That will make things more fluid I think and give you a real edge in the very saturated anime scene.

Wow! I love the 1st one. It is 1) very trippy, and 2) reminds me of Pandora from Avatar. Maybe try that same line drawing style and do Zentangle sort of stuff, over top of a neat colorful background?

LOL no way. Those paintbrushes are thinner than pencils. I wouldn't be able to grip them vaginally unless I was a zygote. I do plan on collecting my menstrual blood and painting with that though.
I'm surprised everybody likes the first one the best. I will try to draw more stuff like that. I do have one more, it's the very first painting I ever made. The lines are in a similar style to the 1st painting I posted in this thread, I will come back and post it once I finish my most recent painting. It's just a picture of a horses face.
If you like trippy stuff you will probably like this one. It's the first drawing I made, and was the inspiration for me to begin making art. I was tripping balls on acid and turned off all the lights and started drawing while hallucinating, in a disoriented, blind, and confused state. I realized, holy shit, this is the exact feeling that I get from PCP! THIS is AWESOME! Speaking of pcp, I'm working on one now that is related to my PCP trips.
That acid trip in Philadelphia changed my life, and influenced me to start painting and drawing. You have no idea how hard it was to draw this in total darkness while hallucinating and totally distracted every few seconds.

I agree. I started that when I had no art supplies so those were just drawn with ballpoint pens on computer paper. Now that I have art supplies I intend on drawing similar stuff next time I'm tripping on mushrooms or acid.
