 Advantages/Disadantages or crushed up shrooms?

I think is saw this on the forum before, but couldnt find it. Could someone take a dried shroom, crush it up into powder, and fill up empty pill capsules with it? What would the advantages and disadvantages be in doing this ? Thanks for the info, Nick.

yeah i do it all the time it works just as good as eating them maybe comes on a little quicker since it's all ground up can't really notice a diffrence though it's in the faqs on the main site i think search there

advantages.....much easier to consume...measured dose(each 00 size cap holds a half gram.easier and more stelthy to store...removes the need to expose your taste buds to that nasty mushroom taste.
disadvantages.takes time to pack the caps.

Way easier to grind to a dust and load capsules. So easy to take, no gagging on that disgusting tasting powder.

Yeah, probably any pharmacy will have them, Even kmart has them, but thier behind the counter so you have to ask.

Yeah - they are cheaper online. Oh - mine were vegan friendly, which costs more. (Not that I give a damn, but some friends are vegitarian so...)

how do you know how many pills to take to achieve desired effects? Say you wanted to take an 8th/Oz worth in pill form?

Well, when you pack the pills figure out how much you are putting into each pill - generally it's around 1/2 gram.

Why so much fuss over a little mushroom taste? personally i like the taste of mushrooms! and besides, it saves me that much more money and time to invest in my spores!

You can weigh out 3.5 grams first. Then grind em up, and you have 3.5g shroom powder. Pack into capsules. And there you have it. If you want to know from there about how much is in each capsule take the amount you grinded up (3.5g) and divided by the amount of capsules you have at the end (ie 6) 3.5g / 6 = .583 ...just above half a gram each.
