Ya i saw fear and loathing on my first shroom trip, it was amazing, all the colors, all the madness, i mean you watch the movie in a dark room by yourself and at the end you feel high...it just sucks you in
i only got through like half of it and then i was orbiting the moon and totally lost track of the movie...the walls were much more entertaining at the time

I too enjoy watching the "Great Family Fun!" and "Truely Riviting!" and "Utterly Horrifying" and "Sensationally Witty" and "Outrageously Funny!"and "Oscar-Worthy" productions that my mind puts on for itself. BUT, if you're watching movies, I'd say Waking Life. I recommend watching Shpongle too..... its music, but you can watch it with "heightened senses"
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me. In addition: SHPONGLE

I haven't heard of Waking Life what's it all about? My top pick would have to be Fansasia. Not Fantasia 2000 though, I thought the computer animation and line animation didn't mesh very well. I also like Akira. It's an anime film that is kinda dark for my taste, but nevertheless stunning visually and mind expanding. I would have to agree that The BIg Lebowski was a fun one. First time I watched it I was tripping. I used to REALLY like The Wall, but I think I overdid it with that one. It's kinda dark anyways for my current taste. I find fear and loathing very visually stunning, but it gets so dark and sinister towards the end. I can't even hardly watch the last half sober.

Waking Life is hard to describe. The most readily noticeable thing is the animation over live action method. I know some people who didn't like it, but had to agree it meshed wonderfully with tripping.
Yeah, I suppose What Dreams... is kinda corny at the end, but it is supposed to be an instruction manual, of sorts. But it is most beautiful to watch
