Chanterelle? False? Cinnabarinus?

Let me preface by saying, I apologize for picture quality, I did the best I could with what I had. Anyhow, we took a trip up to the cabin, went on a little identification adventure (found tons of real pretty fungi, maybe will post more when have time). Did find some of what I believe to be chanterelle's but possibly false. Was hoping someone could lend a hand. Also located some great Hedgehogs and an unknown specimen which thought may be Jack-o-Lantern's but haven't really done much research. Without any avail:
(Chanterelle's?) Found: In Northwestern Wisconsin. In hardwood forest growing individually in the undergrowth but with many specimens around. Oaks, pines and some maples in the area. Growing mainly in higher spots.
Size: Caps averaged 1" or so across, Avg height about 1 1/2".
Cap: Light orange, appears as if its almost a bit old, very thin.
Gill surface: A slightly different color of orange (more brown?), traveled down stipe a bit, false gills.
Stipe: Similar in color to the cap, not completely hollow with "stringy" innards.
No spore print, and scent was very mild.

The other picture is strictly for fun, if you can ID, awsome! Thanks for any and all help, please let me know if I can help any further with identification.

Thank you for you're time, I'm starting to believe they are hygrocybe cantharellus.

Winter chanterelles! Delicious
Edit: I've found those quite often when looking for hedgehogs, sometimes fruiting next to each other

Really? I am surprised and quite happy to hear that! Like I said, inside the stems is kind of "pulpy" so it threw me for a bit of a loop. Thanks much for the time would give both you guys +1's but don't believe I can yet.

They are chanterelles....heard them referred to trumpet chants.....I think cantharellus tubaeformis. I find them by the baskets.

Thanks for your reply. You guys are absolutely right I believe they are Craterellus ignicolor (or Tubaeformis like you said) . I'm excited as these are my first chanterelle's in any form, my area is much marshier and we don't see them often. Recommend cooking these little guys as you would any other mushroom? Any specific recipes you use?
Again, thanks for all the help guys, nice having reliable people on here to come to.
