Highest temperature that mushrooms can be dried at without losing potency?

My dehydrator goes all the way up to 155 degrees F. I usually dry at 135 because I am concerned about potency loss, but can Psilocybin even degrade at temperatures as low as 155 F? When making tea, many people place the shrooms in boiling water and seem to trip just fine. How stable is psilocybin, is it safe to dry them at 155 F, and at what temperature does it start to break down?

Like 350 something.
Most of us do 160-170f for 13-24+

Thermal degradation takes very high temperature. Like I said over 300/350

Enzymatic degradation because fruits are still wet takes place at room temp to warm temps. Over 150-160f most enzymes are cometely deactivated.

Us guys who have been around do as hot as the dehydrator goes. To shut off enzymes. And get them cracker dry as fast as possible to lock in potency.

Usually 12+ hrs or more for thick fucks

i'm sure you're fine at that temp

i never liked using heat so I just used magnesium sulfate (Damp Rid)

I like to just lay them out on some carboard and then damp rid after a few days.
Zero heat.

Why do you let them sit out, out of curiosity?

Best to dry them as fast as possible (and make sure they are completely dry).

Some do at 106 some do at 160f.

Mashing grains to get starch to sugar conversion happens at 150f amalayse works at those temps

Note amalayse thru mash out. Read those sections. Not protein enzymes alpha and beta amalayse denature well above 106.

Heard of a PCR ? They use the enzymes from thermophiles to replicate dna at very high temperature. There's thousands of things that go well above 106.

Also if you ever get a fever above 106f I hope you die because your brain denatures.

To dry lol my shrooms are potent ass all fuck though so don't try to tell me I'm doing it wrong. Haha

Edit: they only sit out for about two days before the damprid and then they are cracker dry
