ok, i had only 3 jars of WBS and have inoculated all of them. the first one went off without a hitch and i have already fruited them. on my second flush already. my second jar started out good, but now it, well, it hasnt stalled in growth, but the mycelium isnt progressing down. its stayed at the top 1/3 of the jar. it still is growing but just not progressing downward. i have shaken and broken the mycelium up as much as possible, but its mostly in a big clum and wont completely break up. why is this happening? my 3rd jar has been inoculated, but as of now ha yet to show any sign of growth whatso ever. there are no contams in the jar just no growth at all. is there anything i could do to help these 2 jars progress?? i also recently have inoculated 2 6qt bags but there hasnt been enough time for them to germinate im thinking. only 4 days on 1 and 1 day on the other. any help i could get on this would be great.

Pics man, pics.
Leftover chunks of WBS are normal after shaking, you'll be able to break it up with your hands when your ready to spawn it to bulk.

Smack the jar against a bike tire until it starts to crumble and disperse.
How are you inoculating your jars? Did you inoculate all at once? How long since you inoculated? Multispore, liquid culture, agar, G2G? The 2 6 quart bags, did you inoculate with only a partially colonized jar? Pics!

I dont have a bicycle so i use the edge of a boot sole....and i beat the jar almost as hard as i can....it seems like no matter how hard i hit a glass jar just wont break hitting rubber.

I'll get pix here shortly. Ok. The bag I inoculated on 9/16 was mutispore mazatapec. The one I did on 9/19 was an LC of Orissa India. And the mutispore I used 4cc of the syringe. For the Orissa, I used 12CCs of LC. As for the jars. I've tried a tire. And I get some of it broke up but not allof it. Not even most. I'll figure the breaking up part out later. I'm more concerned with y its not progressing downward into the grains. And y would it have stalled out to begin with.. .
