I've a collection of 27,304 installed fonts.

Takes about two minutes just for Character Map to start up.

How many installed fonts have you got?

[WinXP, 2.66GHz Xenon quad, server]

In WinXP I go:

[START] > My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS

Then Right-click on Fonts, select Properties

Then wait for the popup to read all the files.

Mine says, "Contains: 27,305 Files, 0 Folders"

Why are you using a server machine? DO YOU OWN FONTSTRUCT.COM?!?!?
Also, a large amount of those files aren't actually fonts but hidden files.

It was the only thing I had available to put my drives into when my regular desktop computer let out the magic smoke. Am currently looking into other options. It does make for a useful computer chair, though.

I do not, but will look into it.

All of these files are .ttf with a few .fon in there for some reason. No other files are in that folder, and I've all file types viewable.

When you look into the folder you can see the number of actual usable font files in that folder. The hidden files you won't see, even with hidden files viewable option set(these are system files, usually used in caching).

Here's a screen grab of mine, it probably explains it better than I can.

Wow. I don't like that.

How can I make it so I see every file in there?

WinXP it's in file explorer, in the menu under folder options.

I forget where folder options is in Windows; might be under view?
