just helped a spider escape from limbo * 3
    #22262078 - 09/19/15 08:56 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

The window in my shower is attached to this little inset shelf type deal. I have a little spider friend that likes to chill there.

We have an agreement that his web stays on one side, while my cleaning shit stays on the other. We had one incident in the beginning, but we had a long talk and we haven't had trouble since.

Earlier I found that he had made his way far from home. While I was upset that he was using the tub without asking first, I was a little concerned that he may be stuck. I didn't wanna interrupt, so I decided to come back in a little bit and check on him.

I grabbed an empty paper towel roll and bent the one end of it.

I guess he wasn't done, because when I went to scoop him up he did about 3 laps before finally running into "the cave" (his assumed words).

I dropped his ass above the web, but then he got stuck!

I had to grab scissors and cut him free...AND THEN HE FELL IN THE TUB AGAIN!

Then he wouldn't come out out of the tube.

Then he ended up hanging down kind of over the tub.

I finally got him back to home base. But it wasn't easy.

This is a long ass post about saving a spider.
Do the right thing. Intervene.

You need to get closer with your bathroom spider.
You ain't the only one to have pets
Shits risky business being so close to the drain.
But bathsalts!
Why else do u think they make trippy webs?
