Blue foot quest continues
    #22261276 - 09/19/15 05:48 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Hey guys, went to that same log that I've been finding P. caerulipes at. I picked the smaller guy from my last post and found two others. One I'm almost positive is another P. caerulipes but the other one I found at the base of the log. The pictures I post of it was the condition it was found in. It must've recently fallen off the log because it was very dried. I noticed bluing on the stem so I brought it with me. I would like to know if it's safe or if I should just toss it. Might be too far gone by now.

So this picture is three (doesn't include the rotting one). The far left is the one I posted yesterday that was confirmed. The far right one is the one I picked today which was growing right beside the far left one. But the middle one is the one I'm not positive about. The coloration on the cap looks different but then again the stem is very discolored. These were all found on the same log btw.

Here is the underside of the middle one that I'm unsure about:

In its natural habitat before picking (sorry for the fuzzy quality):

The rotting one:

The whole family!

So I'm considering throwing the rotten one out depending on what you guys think. I know these are all really small but I was reading a site about P. caerulipes and its potency. It said that the recommended dosage is 2-3 mushrooms but never clarified any size. Do you guys think this would be enough for a level 1(no food before)? Or should I wait till I can find more? Never done shrooms before, not really looking to lose ego or anything insane. A nice introspective experience would suffice. Any advice is welcome, thanks!

Do tea and eat them all, you will feel it off that much.

--------------------
I give you the choice of 2 pills.

With each containing one of the following:
Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk?
Didn't think so.

This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.
