Wife found this sucker while mowing at her dads business, Its the largest i have ever seen by far...

No, that is beautiful but those get much larger, if that's that looks like an artist conk

In Oregon and Washington weve brought home G. Oregonense 4feet wide and a foot thick growing on old growth snags about 25 feet up. Along the coast range you will see artist conks on downed alder 7 feet long or more

Looks like G.sessile are you in the east?

Last year I sent a few pieces from an absolutely massive Ganoderma tsugae from an old growth forest in Kentucky. Had to be at least two foot across.

Wasnt growing on a tree actually. Growing in gravel. and yes im in the east.
