Outdoor Grow In A Pine Forest?

So in one of the outdoor teks on shroomery (I don't remember which one) I read that when growing outdoors you should try to avoid Pine Forest because the pinestraw raises the pH and hurts the grow. However my only option might be to grow in pine forests in my area. Could I still do it because the floor is covered in pinestraw. If I just brushed it away for the patch could I still grow? I'd be growing cubes Thanks for feedback

Grow outdoors in a monotub in the shade in the breeze.
critters destroy pretty much everything I put, unprotected, outside.
monotubs provide protection and a fairly stable environment.

You'd be surprised. My town is literally has pine in its name. But yea I suppose I could find some. But if the soil is basically sand could I still make a mushroom patch? I could probs find some dirt patches but would sand be no good?

So can it be done in a pine forest or will it hurt the grow too much and I should find some dirt patches where I can grow?

you could also rig something up like this. using some weed fabric or a black plastic bag to surround the bed.

Dig a hole and bring in your substrate

What ill probably do is dig a whole and layer it with a bag or something and put the cakes and poo and hay on that (if that makes sense)

Outside you don't even need to use that extra plastic and make extra garbage. When the patch is spent you can just throw a couple shovelfuls of dirt over top and have it look like nothing happened.
on the substrate. Poo is awesome outside because there isn't much prep

Yeah by hay i meant pasteurized straw. Gonna moes tek this bitch. But if i do it in a pine forest when i did the whole and layer the inside layers with a layer of plastic so the substrate and cakes dont come in contacts with the acidic soil? Maybe poke holes in the plastic so it gets some? Or no plastic?
