I have scoliosis and i believe shrooms hold the key
    #22254301 - 09/18/15 01:23 AM (8 years, 4 months ago)

I hate to admit it but  I have a confirmed hunch back. Regular  quasimoto.
I have a really hyper personality too which doesn't help.
Lately I notice  when I get out of bed I'm bent over at the waist and 45 degrees staring at the floor looking like an atrophed old man. My thorastic spine won't allow me to straighten myself tall and chin up. Its rather embarassing.

Side note: my grandfather of my pop died in a wheelchair of muscle atrophy.

The point is last mushrooms I had reached in me and I saw my family that I need to focus on my job  and relax. Than my enormous fore head slammed on the table I behan snoring loud while these thoughts were happen g the weight of my head was sinking my face further and further into the hard wood table and the deep snoring was causing my brain to receive so much fresh oxygen in and out than to my surprise my super tight neck muscles starting realeasing years of built up tension. This was amazing these can really help with some physical stress

Are you sure you don't need to update your mood from "sober" to something else?

Muscular tension is important contributer to posture, and the way the stress and nervous system interelate with that (actively and organically) is not a one dimensional thing.

As I understand, you need to reprogram propreoception, in a positive way, which is to say to generally balance the physical muscles in the back, and the internal signal systems which are out of whack. You need to know what to strengthen and loosen up generally.

I have pretty bad idiopathic scoliosis myself, (thoratic) and do about three hours of exercise I have learned, from upside down hanging workout, shroth, to yoga. Right now I am just trying to get really strong, and am at a critical point.

Hanging by the arms from tree limbs or pull up bars is the first thing I started doing to decompress. Also side planks again and again (I do 3 minutes) and of course passive correction by adding pressure in bulging spots (laying on pillows and towels and whatnot). I'm sure you know alot of this. I know a lot now but it is still a damn struggle. (Have had it my whole life but really bad for a year.)

One thing I have not tried in a while is mushrooms, and your theory sounds inspiring. I remember before I had scoliosis, I knew they can be almost miraculous for loosening up and doing good yoga.

If you know a bit about your specifical condition I can maybe send you what information I have and trade secrets. Feel free to send me a PM.

Why post gibberish like this? Wait until your mind is clear and try again.

I have scoliosis, i have had it for 8 years now, 3 years into it, i went to doctor, and nothing has helped. Three different therapy places, im in my 20s but just keep living life and trying to sit up straight, i can stand up straight, but when i am sitting down my back is hunched. Do get alot of pain some days, shooting pain in the middle of my back if i even do just a little bit of lifting.

doctors wont prescribe me anything for it besides 800 ibuprofens, so i just smoke alot of weed on daily basis, but now i am out. smoked over 8 oz since january, it helped me the whole time for my pain, and after awhile i was not getting "high", i was just getting relieved from my pain. This was all high grade, comparable to medical grade weed.

Your absolutely right could not have said it better. Hanging exercises and planks is where it's at that's what I'm strengthening as well at the moment. It's the relation that your arms have with connecting to your body. My arms are long and strong but everything shoulder neck and upper trap is all fucked

I said gibberish--I should have said "drunken slush". Mushrooms, weed, are fine, just don't post too soon after indulging.

If it works for you then go with it! I have degenerative disc disease and have muscles in my neck and upper back that never seem to let go but I can get stretched out way better with THC in me.  I am a firm believer in our natural allies for getting all things straightened out, physically and metaphysically speaking.

Yea it's my theory that the psylicibin works your CNS. Allowing these shit tight areas blood and minor muscle movement finally allowing you to get out of some stiff posture you may have for the rest of your life. The mushrooms want you to be strong beautiful and completely erect like how they form. Not slumped over like mo
