You're thinking of the movie Kazaam starring Shaq, he was a genie trapped in a radio or some shit.

To the Champions of the world thing, I don't necessarily remember it saying of the world at the very end, more like the middle of the song. Might be at the end too though lol A couple sporting events I've been to cut the song off at of the world if they won though so maybe that's where that misconception came from

I definitely have heard them say "of the world" at the end too, but now I'm listening to renditions of Queen singing the song on YouTube, and I haven't stumbled upon one yet where they sing "Of the world" at the end.

This is really fucking with my head now.

The non existent monocle is so attached to him that Ace Ventura asked this monocled guy if he was the monopoly guy. It must be pretty popular, the belief in a monocled monopoly guy if a joke in a hollywood movie is made about it. There's a guy on YouTube who proves that the Monopoly guy had a monocle by looking at old newspapers that labeled the Monopoly guy the "monocled mascot."

The mandela effect is fucking werid.

The "of the world" is in the middle of the song, but not the end of it. At the very end, they "should" say "of the world" but they just say "champions" then it ends.

Does Vader really just say "No, I am your father"? thats fucking weird, i gotta watch that movie again to make sure....

The only example of this that bothers me is the human anatomy one. Like I watched a few videos and people were like no the intestines are smaller and cleaner and the appendix doesn't go there... When almost all of it is based off of popular poorly represented models. Like "the extra bone by the shoulder" in front of the shoulder. Previously rarely presented in models and sketches that would be one's collar bones.

And "my moms a nurse and she swears your kidneys were closer to your pelvis" ...those are ovaries.

"the heart was always in the center of the chest, not the left" again poorly represented models confusing people, this is the problem with breaking things down for people and oversimplifying them.

Human memory is actually very easily manipulated. I can almost guarantee you all of us remember a conversation a year ago that barely went at all like we thought it did. It's because the mind tends to only keep the core, the essence of the memory unless it is crucial and replayed frequently (even those can be manipulated) and, like it does with active vision, the mind will fill in gaps when actively trying to recall a memory.

Monkeys have tails that's why we remember George as having a tail.

Life is like a box of chocolates makes more functional sense in the representation of the quote than 'was'

Bernstein bears makes more sense to our culture and use of language than Bernstain - especially in the way it's pronounced

Breeze has 2 e's so, brand or not, a product called febreze is going to be recalled as febreeze.

Not saying something strange isn't going on in our time, and I do think the multi universe theory is a very real one, I'm just saying that you should keep in mind that we are all human and our brains may function on different levels but they do function in relatively the same manner.

Also not saying some of these might be legit. I just think that alot of the claimed ME examples are simply commonly misremembered events. In large part because our memories are often second hand through media. The core of the original memory may be preserved but I'm doubtful everyone remembers what the evil witch said in snow white, word for word, when they first watched it as a 6 yr old.

And, being said, you're a fucking 6 yr old. You're likely to simplify sentences. It is the repition of the misquote we remember, not the true original.

See, I actually could have sworn I've seen a Curious George book where in one page, he is actually swinging or hanging by a tree from his tail. He's hanging from his tail and almost dangling upside-down in the picture and looking up at his owner in the page that I recall.

Tbh thats one of the ones I feel pretty strongly about. There was a cartoon and I'm pretty sure I remember George walking with the hat man and his tail S crooked behind him.

But I can't even remember had man's name. I'm thinking his name may even be hat man.

Shaq + Kazaam
Sha(-q)+(-ka)zaam
Shazaam, that movie with the black dude playing the genie!

Seems like the thought process.

Shaq did some strange things back in the 90s though,
remember Shaq-Fu?

The other day I was surfing thru comedies on Netflix and saw this title "22 Jump Street" and my heart almost stopped cuz I fucking was dam sure the movie was and IS called "21 Jump Street" so I googled that up quick over at www.google.com and turns out they just made a sequel, I hadn't shifted to another dimension.

Robin Williams was the Genie in Aladdin.

My guess as to where the confusion is potentially coming from is because Shaq's costume in Kazaam:

was designed to have a certain aesthetic, due to the genie connotations.

This would be trivial, but in the 90s Sinbad had a sitcom, remember it being pretty comical.  Tend to remember Sinbad as a comedian, and Shaq as a basketball player.

Personally remember sitting and watching that stupid cable channel where it scrolled through telling what was on different channels, seeing "Sinbad" and excitedly turning to the channel to instead see:

Which, notably, evokes a similar costume design to Kazaam.

At least, that is how my thought process went after reading your post and trying to remember the movie.

The first half of your post definitely made sense, but I didn't grow up watching very much TV, so the last two pictures I actually don't even recognize. I never saw Sinbad's TV sitcom either.

Ah, well then clearly that does not really apply. Dx

The screens were from a series called The Adventures of Sinbad, based on a story from Arabian Nights.
Which was too long for the guide channel to fit in the box, so they went with just Sinbad.

Personally only really remember the show due to tuning to it and expecting The Sinbad Show.

Cannot account for remembering two different movies in your case.

I told my flat earth buddy about this today. He is of a differing opinion than me. He thinks that this is a glitch in the matrix and that we're all in a simulation. I think that we either got transferred over from, or merged with a nearly identical universe (where obviously planets are round).

Oddly enough we both remember the name being Berenstein. We're clearly from the same place, but who's right?

I asked my brother about this today as well. He remembers BerenstAin :uhoh:

I have seen pictures in the google searches of books with both version of Berenst(e)(a)in written on them so I don't know what to think really. I thought it was spelled with an E myself.

You know, now that I go through my memory more vividly, I actually now recall being in 1st grade and having an argument with my dad over how Berenstain was pronounced.

I sort of remember arguing that the book was pronounced "BerenSTAIN bears," but my father correcting me and saying it was pronounced "BerenSTEEN" and I kept arguing with him saying that didn't make any sense, because there's an A not an E.

Then I remember arguing about how the word "school" also didn't make any sense, because it should be pronounced "stchyule" not "skool."
