yep, and eventually they learn that yelling pisses you off even if you don't yell at them, and so when they want something they will just scream at you till you give it to them

I feed her different vegetables and fruits on a daily basis.  I'm not letting her do this on purpose, she just keeps going to the plant. She's not even taking large bites, it's like one bite from the leaf and she squaks at me to come get her. and looks as if she is intoxicated.

I let her out when I'm in my room. Quakers are pretty territorial. She's territorial in my room, outside of it she is fine.

But things like this do affect birds differently because they have so little blood. But I actually had to stop her from going back to the plant, twice. I just closed her cage door so she wouldn't try again...

their digestive tracks are different as well, they shit like every 15 minutes.  If I rememeber right because the digestive track is so short it absorbs stuff a lot quicker which means shit hits them faster, which is why pesticides in farm fields kill them but we can eat that shit all day long

since u let the territorial thing get out of hand what might work is to move the cage outside your room, till it stops identifying that room as its throne room.  then move em back in after that and just keep ontop of the lessons
