Hello again Shroomery!
I went to my honey spot fields where I know shrooms grow and collected a ton of dung.
Its very dry where I live right now 60s/50's at night 80/90s in Day, usually we are very wet but the rain seemed to have stopped last few weeks.
So I hosed the ground around my backyard tree all down really good and muddy. Placed the manure all around the tree and then hosed it all down really good making a nice layer.
Now I know I have like a 1/1000 chance of something popping up, but my question is with it being so dry - How much and often should I water the area? Do I just put it on the ground and let it seep under the dung, or lightly shower it like 2x a day to make up for evaporation?

Are you just watering cow shit and hoping the right kind of mushroom will grow? How much effort did you put into all that? As much as it takes to do a round of PF tek?
Did you spot mycelium in it to begin with?

I know its silly haha, I grow them indoors just fine. But the poop is from very active growth spots - I picked a ton of shrooms off this dung when it was humid and damp like 3 weeks ago.
No effort really - I dont really care if they pop up or not. It just wont kill me to water my tree i guess a few times a day or week.

This wont matter really either. But my yard is so poreus and soft just walking on it you sink in. Years and years of rotted pecans etc. Everything is just so soft and perfect - wild non active shrooms are popping up all the time when its good weather.

!!! Told yah! Just 5-6 hours after watering and going fishing came back to this being uncovered/and or already pinning up.

So how much should I water them? If I do it 2x a day will it drown them?
