So me and a buddy are planning on taking a 2 week hike/camp adventure. Need to clear the brain a bit and just be alone with ourselves to come back on a even keel. So was wondering has any experienced hikers done this one. As it's our first and want to get in and out under 2 Weeks. So what was your experience on this trail? A co worker suggested it and just want some hands on knowledge of the area.

In the end, it all comes down to being yourself and taking responsibility for who and what you are

Are you referring to the Grayson Highlands in VA? If so, great choice. The ponies and limitless views make for a memorable trip! Be warned through, the trail in that area is wickedly rocky and the weather very unpredictable. You'll be hiking in the Mount NRA, which traverses the highest peaks of VA.
Two weeks for a first time adventure? IMO that's wayyy ambitious.. Not to say it can't be done, people thru hike with no prior experience... Do you have appropriate gear that you have experience with and confidence in (hunting season is close, don't forget the orange hat!) ? A plan for resupplying food and treating water?
