They sent me a letter. The vendor refunded my money, and I had many succesful orders after that.

Shroomslip said: Pretty much tracking the package in the eyes of the law is as good as "I'm guilty". I suppose with a good lawyer and the right circumstances you could claim you thought you were ordering something else, but that'd be a slim chance. The whole idea of not being able to be prosecuted for ordering illegal drugs is plausible deniability. "I didn't know someone sent me this package". When you start tracking it, you just completely nullify that argument.
How is tracking a package a shady thing to do in the eyes of the law? Whenever I send a flat rate box, it automatically comes with tracking...
And its very uncommon to get caught if you are sending something. Its the receiver that needs to be careful.

It isn't shady until drugs are found in it and you claim you didn't know it was coming or didn't order it.
Then when they see you had and we're checking the tracking it becomes harder to claim you didn't know about it.
Even if it's not definitive, it's just more evidence against you in court
That's why you don't even deny, just don't even say anything
