Re: HPPD [Re: Bitter Cactus]

After reading a little about HPPD, I think I may have it, and I'm not bothered by it.

I have 'flashbacks', usually in the form of me getting a big smile on my face, a deep feeling of happiness and love, then the giggles. Friends ask me what that's about and I tell them, "Sometimes I just feel that life is awesome."

"Whatever, Mario", is usually their response. lol

I've also noticed that my subconscious part of my brain is doing things (dreaming?) while I'm awake. I'll notice I'm thinking about unusual things, ideas, or images like I am asleep, but then realize that a different part of my brain is sharing information with my conscious part.

I'm fine with that, too.

The way I see it, as Pastywhyte mentioned, I rewrote new connections in my brain when I took magic mushrooms. It successfully deleted pathways that I desperately needed removed, cleared my thinking, and gave me a better understanding of things and a nicer look on life.

Now, when it seems like my thoughts are a little more active, I feel privileged to be able to recognize and better understand the workings of my own brain, and hope I will continue to learn new things and be a better person for it.

As long as I don't let the Pub/RomperRooms/Conspiracies&Cover-ups parts of this site get me down... everything's going to be alright.

I'm not bothered by my dog farting and pooping all over the yard. After a while though I do get annoyed and wish he would clean up his own shit!

So, you're saying your brain is full of dog shit? lol jk

This 'gift' of HPPD is an opportunity to understand yourself better. Take it in, learn from it, it'll be okay.

I consider a gift a christmas present filled with money and gold.

I consider HPPD that little annoying nehphew that keeps sticking his fingers in your face and screaming in your ear.

Those are things your ego wants. HPPD might be what you actually need. A gift is something that benefits you even if your too pigheaded to know it. Maybe when you're a child socks and underwear make for a shitty present but once you grow up you might feel differently. The more you post the more I think you need to change your paradigm. Mushrooms might be just the thing you need.

Speed abuse is probably screwing with your mental health harder than your first shroom trip.

It becomes a delerient after a few days. Way more intense visuals and auditory hallucinations then any psychedelic produced for me.

True. But yours is controlling you. I am in control of mine. Lay off the meff and experience what the teacher can show you with an unburdened mind. I did meth for years and it destroyed me. Made me a monster. Psyches made me whole again. Taught me how to control my mindset rather than being at the mercy of it.

This kid abused crystal meth before his brain was finished developing. Blames mental conditions on shrooms.

I blame HPPD  on shrooms. I had hppd two years before touching any kind of stimulant.

Maybe you got my kind of HPPD, but the other things twisted stuff up.

Why would anyone do anything other than DMT after taking Mushrooms?

Mushrooms cannot be a gateway drug.
