Getting to know the mushroom

Last week I had the opportunity to try mushrooms for the first time. I have been nerding out on mushrooms (active and inactive) for the last several months but haven't ever come across anyone who has any. Well this finally changed and I got my hands on 3.5 grams of p. Cubensis that a friend grew.I started by making a half-assed attempt at the lemon tek (I used lime aid with 15% juice so I don't think it made a difference). Psychedelic background: about 12 dmt breakthroughs, 1 powerful LSD trip. No bad trips and lots of practice with meditation( I think it makes a difference)
Set: in my bedroom at the start of the night. I have the grow light over my San Pedro's in the corner to add a little light and some ambient music ready to go. I injest in lime-aid after letting soak for 30 minutes.
0-40 minutes: a feeling of restlessness and a mild head high set in almost immediately and then progressed to nowhere for 40 minutes.
40 minutes. I decide to turn off my grow light and turn on some music. At this point, it was good ol' shpongle. The effects hit like a brick. I was tripping.
40 minutes-3 hours: music with psychedelics is the most interesting thing I have ever experienced. Here's how I will describe what was happening: the "trip" itself was a holographic rollercoaster that latched on to me and which the music rode along with. These 3 aspects (myself, the trip and the music) were all separate but when riding the rollercoaster we were one. Intense synaesthesia was occurring.each new sound would take me to a new, unexplored place. A persisting thought throughout the experience was this: why is this place so familiar and comfortable? At this time I kept experiencing "hyperbursts of cosmic Ecstasy erupting from my heart chakra." This was the most amazing feeling ever. I could not contain the immense feeling of joy this 'explosion' brought. Thoughts were typical insightful psychedelic thouhjts- an important experience for all humans to have. I lost track of time at different points. I started watching an Alan watts youtube video and essentially becMe the video. It was only 5 minutes long but on the fourth minute I had to restart it to see what I was watching. I couldn't believe it was the same 5 minute video as I had started a few minutes ago. I felt as though I had been watching Alan watts videos in a sort of trance for hours.
4-6 hours: at this point the trip is definitely wearing off but music is still immensely enjoyable, so I plug in and listen to emancipator and odesza to make the most of the trip. After 7 hours I was able to get some sleep.
The next day was amazing. I went to a hot spring and had it all to myself and then hiked down an old logging road and sat on a rock for a few hours listening to birds. I have never felt so contempt with life. It was amazing. The mushroom is officially my favorite psychedelic. I am moving to Astoria Oregon in January to get in on the wild mushroom action and hopefully get to know these amazing alkaloids a little better.

do you know what variety of cube you used for this nice trip?
-------------------- My father used to say: I don't care what else you do in life, just don't be an asshole. People, forgive me when I forget what my daddy said. Cut back the proliferating list of people whose opinions can hurt you. Unless they have done or want to do you some good, their views are just not worth tracking. Saul Bellow “People are just cannibals unless they leave each other alone.” Doris Lessing Those whom the gods would save, they dower with compassion. Mr. P. Silocybin

Golden Teachers, grown by a friend of mine. I just knocked up a couple jars with spores he gave me from the same strain and I'm hoping for the best!
