It's gotta be the plastic containers then, I hardly get any condensation with the glass

The only thing I've done so far to help is if there's a little water left in there, swirling the plate around before inoculation knocks the condensation off the wall.
yup, and because I do all my pasty plates upside-down, it all drains out when I pop the lids. just let it fall on the bottom of the sab.

Same here. Do you think it's because glass holds heat so much longer than the PP5s? If it holds heat longer, it'll cool way slower, and be less likely to form condensation?

eatyualive said: yes. also, sometimes if you can't get the spores to germinate. adding them to some sterile water. allowing the spores to hydrate for a few days sometimes helps with stubborn prints/spores ect.
basically making a spore syringe then inoculating with it right?
also, how long would one have to PC water in a jar to sterilize it, around 30-45 minutes?

30 mins is plenty
A lot of people say 20, I run 30 to be safe. Same with agar.

last few tubs of the season ill soon be a retired cube grower.

and put it to agar>pint>qts>bags first two are CVG only, 4 qts of spawn. tall and skinny

CVG + poo tubs coming along started from same plate

this is APE plate. literally the first transfer from spore swipe plate, this sucker sectored fast!

i can't match TEG's PE man. those guys are THICK!!!! great job dude, u gotta come teach me the ways of PE, i only pulled off a few before giving up
