Do you believe plants have spirits and that we communicate with them through psychedelics or no?

Yes, take Salvia for example..it is a connection between a varied amount of spirits and singleton consciousnesses... After a trip i came to be awaking after the Soma Effects of the Salvia..and then i heard a voice on my computer say "Come back..." so it was a female voice...Yeah definitely on Salvia..I haven't had any contact with a natural species of drugs other than Salvia though

Yes just like you are alive and living a life everything else is too. More happens than just connecting to the plants but that's a part of it. Plants are extremely aware most people haven't a clue and think "oh, that's just a plant, it's not alive" Their "brains" are underground.

Root apex of higher plants shows very high sensitivity to environmental stimuli. The root cap acts as the most prominent plant sensory organ; sensing diverse physical parameters such as gravity, light, humidity, oxygen, and critical inorganic nutrients. However, the motoric responses to these stimuli are accomplished in the elongation region. This spatial discrepancy was solved when we have discovered and characterized the transition zone which is interpolated between the apical meristem and the subapical elongation zone. Cells of this zone are very active in the cytoskeletal rearrangements, endocytosis and endocytic vesicle recycling, as well as in electric activities. Here we discuss the oscillatory nature of the transition zone which, together with several other features of this zone, suggest that it acts as some kind of command center. In accordance with the early proposal of Charles and Francis Darwin, cells of this root zone receive sensory information from the root cap and instruct the motoric responses of cells in the elongation zone.

Light can penetrate several centimetres below the soil surface. Growth, development and behaviour of plant roots are markedly affected by light despite their underground lifestyle. Early studies provided contrasting information on the spatial and temporal distribution of light-sensing cells in the apical region of root apex and discussed the physiological roles of plant hormones in root responses to light. Recent biological and microscopic advances have improved our understanding of the processes involved in the sensing and transduction of light signals, resulting in subsequent physiological and behavioural responses in growing root apices. Here, we review current knowledge of cellular distributions of photoreceptors and their signal transduction pathways in diverse root tissues and root apex zones. We are discussing also the roles of auxin transporters in roots exposed to light, as well as interactions of light signal perceptions with sensing of other environmental factors relevant to plant roots.

it's a big world and the possibilities never end. There is a guy who claims to have converse with trees. I have no doubt he does.

yes, I believe that all plants have spirits and can in theory be communicated with. However, most of us have lost this ability. Certain plants (psychedelics), however, serve as like communication hubs or translators which allow us access into this world.
I have had psilocybin mushrooms I was growing speak to me before. The only thing that freaked me out about it was the fact that they knew my name. How did they know my name?

Not a psilocybin trip but I had eaten some aminita that day.

No. But I believe everything is energy, and that perhaps it can be called spirit, and perhaps we are better able to narrow our focus and shift our perception enough to register and engage with such energy when we are in an altered state of consciousness.

Plants literally thrive from our focused attention and the CO2 we breathe on them with it's moist warmth doesn't hurt in the least. A plant in health will exude healthy energy, a sick plant is suffering and struggling. The insects and other pests are aware of this and know just which plant to attack. If a bug is that smart we should be too. But many are not. They treat their plants like they treat their pets, which is to say not well at all. As humans we must bend to the needs of plants and pets, and not try to bend them to our petty desires.

My wife and I are planning and moving forward with making a permaculture garden once we get a house, and hopefully in the future my friend and I will be on our way to making a permaculture and regenerative living community.
