water pooling in SGFC

Apparently I didn't make the best choice of containers for my SGFC. There is some water pooling in some places. My idea to take care of this is fill in the little nooks where the water is pooling with some silicone. I'm not sure if I can do this while these cakes are producing in there right now. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't worry about those few drops of water and be more concerned about the opaque nature of the tub you're using. I hope you have a clear lid.

Are you misting the cakes, or the walls?

This looks fine to me but definitely listen to the TC's they are more experienced. I would just be sure to get a clearer SGFC for lighting purposes like they said. Lighting isn't a huge issue but if you want good mushies you need to go by the specs. If you do it right the first time, you dont have to spend extra money or time trying to do it right multiple times. Make sure that the water has drained out of the bottom of your sgfc as well because sometimes depending on the shape of your tub you may need to tilt it to allow for better drainage.

I meant to have an opaque fruiting chamber for something more discreet. Read my other thread here: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22104895
The chamber has LED lights on the inside of the lid.
Hahaha, I'm misting the cakes but my spray bottle has a pretty wide spray. I try not to mist too closely because it can wash off the verm. I try to mist from a distance so that the mist gently falls on the cakes without washing off the verm. The walls do get some mist on them.

I make sure to spray overtop of the cakes so a gentle mist rains down on them lol. Then I immediately fan for a few seconds.
