A Few Martha/GH Tek Questions

Hey Shroomery. I have recently built an automated greenhouse to be used in about a month (I have some rye jars going at the moment) and in that time I am working on fine-tuning my humidity and air exchange so that conditions are great for fruiting with little maintenance.
I have a 4 tier mini greenhouse with a coolmist humidifier in the unit on the top shelf, a small fan on the bottom shelf, and room for tubs on the middle two shelves. I also have a DIY ultrasonic humidi-bucket using a single pond fogger and a PC fan with one tube forcing fog out.

I have a few questions that I haven't been able to answer just by looking at the forums:
-How should my fans and humidifiers be set up in a 4-tier system to optimize air exchange and humid air flow? Should I keep my cool mist and fan in the same place? SHould my ultrasonic be in the green house as well or piping from the outside(I am concerned that piping from the outside may lower effectiveness but I am unsure)?
-How should holes be cut out in the GH?
-What tips do you have on timer usage? What sequences and times are best for this kind of set up?
Thanks!

I just use a cool mist humidifier. I have it on the top shelf because I've been busy lately. I'm gonna fit a piece of hose to the humidifier & place it outside the GH so it gets more FAE. I run mine for a hr or 1.5 hrs(I can't remember right now) at a time with 1 hr off. You may have to adjust your time for you environment. You don't need to cut holes for FAE since it's not really sealed up & that is what the humidifier is for.

So the environment wouldn't benefit from having more outlets like cut holes for co2 to escape? I've cut some holes and stuffed them with poly-fil and that has been retaining moisture well. Another question, how do I test that my FAE is at a healthy rate for the environment?

i set mine up with the cool mist on bottom running 24/7 with the air intake coming from outside the gh, i use the ultra sonic on a timer so it comes on every hour for 10 minutes, the way i dial mine is to time how long it takes for the sub to need a misting which is every hour with my coolmist running

I've never tired cutting holes in it so I can't say for sure. You need to give them fresh air 4-6 times a hr.
Cronic, Does it help to have the ultrasonic going too & do you have that in GH also?

Did you notice a difference w/ & w/out the ultrasonic humidifier?

Depending on the size, the cool most 24/7 may be too much. I ran my cool most 24/7 and it became a swimming pool in there. I have the 4 tier greenhouse from harbor freight.
I have both my cool most and an ultrasonic on the same homemade timer, there are links on here somewhere. I run them 2-4 times per cycle (cycle being the circle of on-off switches). I don't remember what that equates to. I also have a pc fan duct taped to the top of the greenhouse to pull in fresh air on the same cycle of time, but it turns off immediately before the humidifiers turn on.
I'm constantly playing with the cycles due to the variability in dryness where I live.

The ultra is needed for me, my coolmist alone only gets my gh up to 70% average rh as cue said though they are all different so a hygrometer is a good tool to dial in you gh and see what suits ya

Right on I can see where it would help with that. For sure a hygrometer is a good tool. I use one in mine. The RH usually sits around 85-90%. Unless I forget to zip the door up when Im done If it starts to get lower in the winter months I'll give the ultrasonic a try.
