Nightime FAE vs wamth

Hello,
I have some brf cakes by a window. I'm noticing several fruits have broken their veil but are little more than 3 or 4 centimeters tall.
I'm wondering what is causing this, I mist and fan (with an electric fan) around 4 to 5 times a day, and I have 6 6500k fluorescent grow tubes for lighting/heat.
The nights have been pretty cold, around 40 to 50F outdoors. I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to close up the window and turn the fan on for the night or if this would cause too little fae. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Drop the fan completely and close the window.
You fan with the lid of the tote, electric fans are no good. The point of fanning is to destroy humidity to force the environment to re-create itself, drawing water off of the perlite and freshly misted cakes as it re-establishes it's property humidity levels.
Your temps are pretty cold though ,
Small shrooms can also be genetic but those look a bit overwatered.

To clarify, I hold the fan above the fc, I assumed it would push the air out in the same way. I'll try cutting down on the misting, and thank you for the reply.

Just use the lid to fan, no point in wasting electricity. What's the temp in your room?

if your sgfc is build right you shouldn't have a problem with FAE, AFAIK you also dont need the window open if the room isn't especially tiny, leaving your door open and crack the window from time to time should be enough (but i don't think it's necessary). And dont let the fan run for long times it destroys the FAE from the SGFC rather than helping.
best luck!

Yeah I figured,
At that point I'd chock it up to genetics. Do you have 4-5" of perlite? Is your SGFC built to spec? Are the bottom holes free and clear? Is your perlite still wet? Stick a finger about two knuckles down and tell me if it's still moist.
If not take the cakes out and run the perlite under a shower of warmish water.

It's not ideal but shouldn't affect too much. In the winter my room gets down to 67-68 sometimes.

4-5" yes, 1/4" holes on a 2x2" matrix, so as far as I know, yes. The perlite was still damp at that depth. I poked at the bottom holes they didn't seem to be clogged or anything, I assume that's how I would check. They're GT, but I guess that doesn't mean much.

I would suggest to keep the window shut and the ventilator away but I have also no clue how common such genetic problems are...
