How long till this tray colonizes?

Hey Folks,
got this tiny jar few weeks ago.

i made it that tiny as i was just bored and decided to watch the cycle in a short period, so when it was colonized, i decided to spawn it to a bulk substrate, i used 50:50 peat and vermiculite TEK, that was exactly on the 3rd of September, then i waited for 10 days and opened for the first time, to find this:

waited for another 2 days, today, i opened and found this:

this is the size of the tray for whoever may be wondering

i let the tray colonize in a temperature between 25.5-27C and the humidity is between 47-67%, i let it colonize in a top shelf in my room, exposed to light normally, my question is, how long should i wait, according to this growth rate, this is my first bulk grow ever, i'm building my SGFC.
Thanks,

If that is cased, then its ready for the fruiting. If not I'd give it 4-5 more days.

no its not cased, and i opened it 3 times so far, so i need not to open it again to allow for CO2 build up, so thanks, i will leave it for 4 or 5 days (Y)

That won't colonize. Peat and verm are a casing layer not a bulk sub. Might as well fruit now

that's a point to be considered too! so are they ready to fruit not? cuz the rhizomorphic mycelium is everywhere, it has definitely reached the top, i thought i need to cover it completely like any other bulk grow.

Oh damn dude. I should've read your post thoroughly. He is right, verm and peat are not substrate, for they don't have any nutrients. Fruit right away. I would also take some of the mycelium and inoculate some jars.

Ah, well you should just go ahead and follow standard procedure then. You won't be able to use the mycelium in the brf jars since if you opened them they'd be at major risk of contamination. Although you could give it a shot on one jar, if you have plenty. It will only take a small amount of mycelium. Like a quarter sized piece. Anyway good luck.

OH and another thing you could do with those trays of mycelium is to try and inoculate some pasteurized hpoo or straw or a 50/50 mix of both. It might work, it might not, but the yield could be tremendous.

i might try this next time, i'm trying to avoid hpoo as much as i can, i think i might consider doing straw, i'm not wasting time on brf anymore

just fruit it and hope for something to pop out so you can print it or take a clone to agar. I dunno what the heck this guy is talking about.

thanks for all the tips guys <3 i can elevate it, but this is the only place i could use, maybe the other option would be placing them on a desk underneath the AC, but i'm worried about the contamination risk

Put them in the middle of a room with the tub resting on eggcrates, if you have them.

yes i do have egg crates, but i heard putting them on the ground would blow the whole thing as there are more contaminants on the floor -or near the floor- so i heard that its better to put them a bit higher, any tips?

Just put a few jars under the corners to elevate it...you need 4-5 of perlite...and there are entirely too many holes in that thing...I would tape half of them up...you don't want your chamber near any fans or direct AC...honestly I would get a bigger tote and make a new sgfc to specs... http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20195542

There's also contams in the air, but you don't go around spraying Lysol in your fruiting chamber, do you? A good rule of thumb is to keep the fruiting chamber at least 2 feet off the ground.

its a tray made of aluminium, to be accurate, foil, and i have sterilized it with alcohol, and put a black plastic bag, two layers on the bottom and the sides of the tray from inside, and then sterilized it too, then i started spawning, and covered it with a sterilized tin foil cover, made some holes for FGE and covered it with micropore tape to act as a filter, and there is another tray under the SGFC, its used to absorb the water coming off the SGFC, i hope that makes you imagine the whole thing, i always spray the room with rubbing alcohol, and keep everything sterile, there are two holes but i just started fanning few hours ago,now its about 1.70 cm off the ground, and its just doing fine, the humidity is between 95-100% and the temp is between 22-25C i fan twice or three times a day because we have a very high humidity in our country, especially in my room it gets to about 67%.

Unnecessary, fruiting is not sterile. The fully colonized mycelial network will be able to fight off contaminates on its own.

Why do people think rubbing alcohol works without rubbing? That's why its called rubbing alcohol. You can't just spray it in the air and watch it evaporate and say "everything is dead" U must rub with your rubbing alcohol

People who spray ISO into the air thinking it kills everything.
It doesn't.
You must have movement and a small amount of elbow grease to kill anything

It's not a "sterile air box", its "STILL" air. No sense in trying to disinfect it completely. Just spray some water and keep everything moist in there to trap contams against the sides of the box. Try to keep your movements inside very precise and don't place your hands over any open media, and you should be very successful

When you are inoculating jars or plates, you don't want your hands hovering over the jar, only the flamed utensil that you're using. Here's a good right-up to explain the process, take a look! http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21889950
