theres 1000s of herbs for everything how do I pick which ones to use
for example I'm reading about cholesterol and theres about 5 herbs alfalfa arjuna garlic coriander
etc
and for every health issue theres usualy few herbs listed
do I just take small amounts of each one or pick one and use that
and then theres also problem where different webpages list different herbs that supposedly help with certain health issue. after reading through few pages I gather 10-15 different herbs and some of them seem to be listed in contradictory use.
how can I figure out my way around the herbs. how can I know the source of information is legit and actually know what they are doing?

Buy a book about herbs and human health, it is much more credible than scattered web resources.
If you want to be healthy, just eat a variety of vegetables. Any will work, tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, coriander, eggplant, avocado. You don't have to get fancy with herbs.

well just because its a book doesn't mean its credible. anyone can publish a book as easy as internet encyclyepedia.
I figured people here eat a lot of dangerous stuff so someone gotta have some real knowledge about how to properly take herbs and supplements

Books are more credible and reliable.
You're asking for free advice from strangers on the internet, you'd figure that this is the lowest denominator of true information.
Herbs and supplements are essentially useless if you're not eating vegetables consistently and exercising as a boon to your digestion. No pill is going to solve your problems.
I learned the hard way. Looks like you will have to as well.

what I mean is from one article alfalfa garlic and few other substances are supposedly used to prevent or treat certain things.
am I supposed to have all 5 in my diet or one is enough? do you consume herbs as a preventive measure of when you feel sick?
because from neither books or online articles don't say when I should take them
I red books btw and they say same thing as articles online none of them say if those herbs/supplements/etc need to be taken as a maintenance thing or as needed and whether I need to take multiple herbs/supplements/vegetables to treat one thing since there are multiple herbs said to help one thing usually
